Spiegel's recent jersey design competition shows why fans should never be allowed to maim design shirts: unless the team wants to win 2008 wearing an ugly national jersey... What the hey.

Though I have to say, ugly jerseys from the German team are never a thing of the past. One can always comfortably look to it in the future. Congruency, I suppose - perhaps 06/07, the period of good-looking Bayern and National jerseys, are an anomaly. Once they have gotten the attention of the world, it doesn't matter whether their jerseys look like crap afterwards, yes?

Also, I didn't watch the match, but at our last game at the Kallang Stadium, Singapore has lost 3-0 in a friendlies to Australia. *facepalm*


I had to get my daily cuteness fix, and then I realised that, hey, Sandmann can be found on Youtube. I loved the ones with DDR stereotypes, though, including the out-of-proportion HDB flats Plattenbauen. I love how everyone is always kind to each other in Sandmann's world. Well, one can still dream, can't they? Allow me to copypasta some Youtube finds.

This has got to be my favourite ever. It seems like the Socialists are out to cute everyone into submission - a worthy cause, I would say, and an awesome way, too. (What else to expect from a group of people whose embelm is a hand holding a rose?)
