New season, depressive sentiments

Much congratulations to FC Bayern for a successful transfusion. It has certainly made the team stronger, I'm actually looking forward to the Champion's League already. (For us to be able to kick Werder's ass - yowza!) Bayern is once again resembling the European power that it was - and, oh god, Oliver Kahn's kit looks like the one from 1999 where he played against Man Utd. There is still hope of Oliver Kahn retiring in glory, which I will hope for.

The people whom I do miss, though their replacements are certainly a potent force, is Roy Makaay, my fellow Piscean, as well as, from Schalke, Kuranyi, also a fellow Piscean.

Schalke 04 has been disappointing, because the team has been drained in this transfusion - it has lost one of the Altintops, for instance, to be replaced by... Huh?. Nonetheless, I will continue to support Schalke 04 as Neuer-tan is in the team. He seems to be in form, still, which is pretty much all to be said about him (as well as the fact that he's as cute as ever?). What I despise is his liking of Lehmann, but that's only because I hate Lehmann fans. Heh.

I don't really want to know the current state of Leverkusen, since I really didn't have time to keep up with the transfusion news. I'm having a pessimistic view about it now.

Nonetheless hopefully I will be able to watch Lokomotiv/CSKA today. And if not, I will cheer myself by re-watching Green Street. Nothing better than some good old testerone fight-clubes-que blood-letting.



In other news, I have developed a crush on a historic/literary twink of all twinks: Heinrich Heine. He is currently on my desktop wallpaper.

Seriously, look at him. So pretty. What soft brown hair and striking blue eyes!
